Message from the Founder
Reagan Otieno Ochieng: Executive Director
Over the past five years, Wajibika Centre has transitioned from a project-based model to a more strategic and sustainable approach to participatory community development. Our work is structured around four core portfolios: Resilience, Youth Empowerment, Health, and Education, all guided by the cross-cutting principles of localization, gender inclusion, and social cohesion.
Wajibika Centre strengthens vulnerable communities by building climate resilience, enhancing access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, promoting health and education, and fostering opportunities for youth leadership and sustainable livelihoods.
With a dedicated team and strong trust from and the communities we serves, Wajibika Centre has built a solid foundation over the past five years. As we mark this milestone, Wajibika and our project partners remain committed to expanding our reach, strengthening partnerships, and delivering sustainable, long-term impact for communities across Kenya.
